Premium Travel & Luggage, UAE
TUMI: Design and UI/UX for a global premium travel brand's UAE storefront, delivered within international brand guidelines.
TUMI is a global premium travel and lifestyle brand. Bringing that brand into the UAE market meant honouring tightly defined global design guidelines while building a commerce experience that works on local payment methods, local delivery expectations and a bilingual audience.
The challenge
These were the specific constraints the project had to resolve.
- Strict global brand guidelines that left little room for local improvisation
- A premium positioning that rules out the discount and urgency mechanics most stores rely on
- High average order values requiring trust signals and instalment options
- Local payment, courier and returns expectations differing from the brand's home market
- Product detail depth, materials, warranty, capacity, that premium buyers actively research
What we did
- Delivered design and UI/UX that holds precisely to global brand standards while working for UAE buyers
- Built product presentation around materials, capacity, warranty and craft rather than promotional messaging
- Integrated the local payment stack including instalments for high-ticket pieces
- Structured dimensional and capacity data so buyers can filter on cabin compliance
- Implemented warranty registration and service pathways expected of a premium travel brand

Growth model
We would rather be paid for the growth than the hours.
For ecommerce clients we can work on growth-share: an agreed baseline from your trailing performance, then a percentage of the incremental sales we create above it. No fixed retainer. If your revenue does not grow, we do not earn. It changes what we recommend, because we carry part of the risk of being wrong.

Luggage & Baggage
Luggage buyers shop by cabin size, wheel type, shell material and warranty, not by the marketing name of a collection. If your filters cannot answer "will this fit Emirates cabin allowance", the customer leaves and buys the same case somewhere that can.

Luxury ecommerce fails when it is built like discount retail with better photography. High-value buyers are not looking for urgency banners and countdown timers, they are looking for confidence in authenticity, service that recognises them, and a purchase experience that matches the price.
