Lulu Connect: Electronics retail where consistent specification data is what makes comparison, finance and installation actually work.
Lulu Connect is an electronics and appliances retailer. Electronics buyers compare relentlessly, and comparison is only possible when every product in a category carries the same attributes, which is rarely true when data arrives from dozens of different brand feeds.
The challenge
These were the specific constraints the project had to resolve.
- Specification data arriving inconsistently from many different brand feeds
- Comparison impossible when two products in a category describe different attributes
- High-ticket purchases needing EMI and finance presented before checkout
- Installation, demo and haul-away services needing to be booked with the product
- Large appliances requiring dimension and access checks before delivery
What we did
- Defined a normalised attribute schema per product category and mapped every feed into it
- Built comparison and filtering on that structured schema rather than free text
- Presented EMI and finance with per-month pricing on the product page
- Implemented installation and demo booking as services attached to eligible products
- Added dimension and access validation for large appliance deliveries

Growth model
We would rather be paid for the growth than the hours.
For ecommerce clients we can work on growth-share: an agreed baseline from your trailing performance, then a percentage of the incremental sales we create above it. No fixed retainer. If your revenue does not grow, we do not earn. It changes what we recommend, because we carry part of the risk of being wrong.

Electronics & Appliances
Electronics buyers compare before they buy. If your specification data is inconsistent, one TV lists refresh rate, the next does not, comparison breaks, and the customer goes to the marketplace that got its data model right.

A retail chain going online does not have an ecommerce problem, it has an inventory truth problem. The website says in stock, the branch says sold out, and the customer finds out after they have paid. Everything else in omnichannel retail follows from fixing that.
