Designer Luggage, Saudi Arabia
Lipault: A design-led launch storefront for a fashion luggage label entering Saudi Arabia.
Lipault sits where fashion meets luggage, the product is bought on colour, silhouette and personality as much as capacity. Entering Saudi Arabia meant a storefront that leads with design rather than specification, while still handling the practical questions luggage buyers ask.
The challenge
These were the specific constraints the project had to resolve.
- A fashion-led brand entering a market where it had no existing recognition
- Design-first presentation that still has to answer capacity and cabin-compliance questions
- Saudi payment expectations including COD and instalments
- Arabic-first browsing for a brand whose identity is French and fashion-led
- Launch timeline tied to a fixed market-entry date
What we did
- Built a design-led storefront that foregrounds colour, silhouette and styling
- Layered practical specification data underneath without disrupting the visual narrative
- Integrated the Saudi payment stack including COD, Tabby and Tamara
- Delivered Arabic-first browsing with correct RTL treatment
- Shipped to a fixed launch date aligned with the brand's market-entry campaign

Growth model
We would rather be paid for the growth than the hours.
For ecommerce clients we can work on growth-share: an agreed baseline from your trailing performance, then a percentage of the incremental sales we create above it. No fixed retainer. If your revenue does not grow, we do not earn. It changes what we recommend, because we carry part of the risk of being wrong.

Luggage & Baggage
Luggage buyers shop by cabin size, wheel type, shell material and warranty, not by the marketing name of a collection. If your filters cannot answer "will this fit Emirates cabin allowance", the customer leaves and buys the same case somewhere that can.

Fashion commerce lives and dies on two numbers: conversion on the product page and cost of returns. Both are decided by how well you handle size and fit, and most stores in the UAE still ship a static size chart image and absorb the returns as a cost of doing business.

Luxury ecommerce fails when it is built like discount retail with better photography. High-value buyers are not looking for urgency banners and countdown timers, they are looking for confidence in authenticity, service that recognises them, and a purchase experience that matches the price.
